Where you can hear Wendy

In August 2006, I was part of the Festival chorus at Broadstairs, Kent and sang with Coope, Boyes and Simpson. Lester Simpson told me to “keep singing” as I had “a great voice”
(Don’t worry, Lester, I intend to!)

Saltburn Folk Festival 2007 -Winner of the Keith Marsden trophy songwriting competition for “The Visitor.” This led to a successful main stage appearance to sing the winning song.

Other music projects I’ve been involved in over the years include:-
- Backing vox for the excellent “prog rock” band, Tr3nity, at the Classic Rock Society, Rotherham in 2004
- Lead and backing vox for various tracks on Scripture Union’s “Reach Up” CD, in 2005. This was my first venture into a recording studio!
- Lifepath 2006 at Jervaulx Abbey - a Scripture Union event for schools in North Yorkshire - I was singing in the band all week - and it was blazing hot sunshine - FAB!
